IGNOU Goa Admission

IGNOU usually has two admission cycles for most programs: one in January and another in July. These cycles are commonly called the "January Admission Cycle" and the "July Admission Cycle.

  • The IGNOU January admission cycle usually opens around December and extends into January.
  • The IGNOU July admission cycle usually opens around June and extends into July.
  • Similar to the January cycle, this is another opportunity for prospective students to apply for programs.

 

IGNOU Goa UG Admission

B.Com: The minimum duration is three years, and the maximum is six years. It provides flexibility for students to complete the program at their own pace. The B.Com program typically consists of a combination of core and elective courses. The curriculum covers various Commerce, accounting, economics, business, and finance areas.
Candidates shall have studied 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board. There are usually no specific subject requirements.

 

BCA: Candidates should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board. There are usually no specific subject requirements, but studying Mathematics at the 10+2 level can be beneficial. The BCA program typically consists of core and elective courses related to computer science, programming, data structures, algorithms, software development, and more.

 

BA: For the Bachelor of Arts program, applicants must have earned at least a 45% overall grade point average in their 10+2, with English as one of their subjects. Selection is based on merit.

BLIS: The prerequisites for the BLIS program are a bachelor's degree with at least a 50% overall average (45% for students in the SC/ST/OBC/PH categories), a bachelor's degree with a one-year library science diploma, or a bachelor's degree with at least two years of experience working in a library or information centre.

 

BPP: An individual must be 18 to participate in this program. Candidates can get a BPP certificate and continue to further education programs without having this qualification.

 

IGNOU Goa B. Ed admission: A minimum of 50% in the Bachelor's or Master's degree in the humanities, social sciences, business, or sciences is required for B.Ed. The aspirant must submit a duly-filled application form, along with self-certified copies of all required documentation, as specified on the entry-cum-admission form. The students should submit the original papers for authentication after receiving an offer letter for admission.

MA:  The duration of MA programs varies based on the specific discipline, typically two to five years. IGNOU does not conduct any entrance exams for the MBA program. The selections will be based on academic merit in the last qualifying exam.
