GCER, popularly known as the Government College of Engineering and Research, has been established in 2009. This institute seeks approval from AICTE, NAAC, and affiliation to SSPU of Pune and is in Pune, Maharashtra. It is a government institute for engineering that provides U.G. engineering and other degree programs like B-Tech, and B-Tech Lateral. Seeking for B Tech admission in Government College of Engineering & Research, Avasari, must meet the required eligibility conditions. The basic eligibility is, candidates shall have passed 10+2 with 50% eligibility and must clear the MHT-CET entrance exam with valid score. Thus, in order to apply for admissions, you need to qualify in entrance exam and must appear for the counselling session. Candidates will be allotted seat based on their rank and preferences.

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board of education to apply for B.Tech. Admission at Government College of Engineering & Research, Avasari Khurd for B.Tech will be done on basis of score in MHT CET or JEE Main. Then the merit list will be created based on the rank and posted on the official exam website.
