• Admission to B.Tech at Delhi Engineering College is based on a clear JEE Key ranking. Candidates for B.Tech must have completed a 10+2 or an equivalent test from a recognized board, with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as required subjects. The university offers B.Tech in five disciplines, each with 60 seats.
• Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Board of Technical Education to be qualified for B.Tech Lateral Entry. Candidates for Lateral Entry will be admitted based on the Haryana LEET.
• Candidates for Diploma programs must have completed Class 10th with English, Math, and Science as required subjects from a recognized board. The Diploma Engineering Examination is used to assess admission to diploma courses (DET). DEC, Faridabad, offers a Diploma course with 12 seats in each of two specializations.

Admission to B.Tech program is based on a clear JEE Main score. Haryana LEET rank is used to assess Lateral Entry admission. Candidates for Lateral Entry must have a two- or three-year diploma in technology or engineering. Students will be admitted to the BE program based on their success in the JEE Main test. Mathematics should be one of the subjects for those with a B.Sc. degree.

• The admission process at Delhi Engineering College will be held through Haryana State Counseling (HSCS)/National Informatics Centre (NIC), Government of India which will be conducted online for B.Tech admissions. Counseling for B.Tech (1st year) will be based on the HSCS-conducted JEE (Main) All India Rank. Counseling for B.Tech (Lateral entry in 2 years) will be performed by HSCS via NIC and based on OLETR (LEET) rank.
• Delhi Engineering College Admission process to first-year diploma courses will be through the Haryana State Counseling Society and the Diploma Engineering Test (DET). Students must complete the Delhi Engineering College application form, which is included in the prospectus.
