Started Bharati Vidhyapeeth Deemed University in the academic year 1964. The university manages 60 Institutions and 78 schools to offer Higher Education and professional education. The university currently offers education in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Catering Technology, Hotel Management, Management, Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Dentistry, and Medicine at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The university accepts admission for the courses through the University level and National level entrance tests, followed by the university's counseling round. The university application forms can be filled out and submitted through the official BVP Pune website.

  • A valid score in CET or MHTCET or JEE Main exam is required for admission to the B.Tech course.
  • MBBS and BDS admission processes will be based on the NEET UG score.
  • NEET PG score is needed for admission to MD, MDS, and MS courses.
  • Admission to the M.Tech course is based on GATE exam performance followed by counseling.
  • A valid score in the GPAT exam is also accepted for admission to M.Pharm besides just a University test.
  • The B-Mat exam is conducted for MBA, and the C-MAT exam is conducted for the MCA course by the university.
  • The university has separate entrance tests held for other UG and PG courses.

BVP UG Courses Admissions:

The university offers various UG courses such as B.Pharm, B.Pharm Practice, MBBS, BDS, B.Tech, B.Arch, BHMCT, B.Sc., LLB, BBA LLB, BA LLB, BBA, BCA, B.Optom, BASLP, B.Sc. Nursing and Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing. The students applying for the courses (except LLB and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing) must have basic eligibility of 10+2 or equivalent with relevant subjects with minimum marks. The students will be selected for final admission based on the university's entrance test, followed by counseling.

BVP B.Tech Admission:

B.Tech course has several specializations held for four years of duration. The basic eligibility is 10+2 or equivalent with Physics & Mathematics subjects with at least 50% marks. The selection process will be based on CET, MHT CET, or JEE Main, followed by counseling.

Students with a Diploma of Engineering or B.Sc. degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 45% marks are also eligible for the B.Tech Lateral entry Admission. The students will be finalized for admission based on the university's ET.

BVP Application Process:

BVP accepts application forms online from the official website for all the courses. The students applying for B.Tech will have to complete and download the application form and submit it either post or in person. The scanned copies of the photograph and signature must be attached to the application form. The students' application fee must be paid when submitting the application form.
