The Centre for Distance Education at Hyderabad University is accepting application forms for its one-year PG Diploma distance courses. The last date to submit the form is March 31, 2024. Hyderabad University Distance Courses are offered in a blended mode, combining online and offline learning. They are approved by the UGC, AICTE, and Distance Education Council (DEC) joint committee.

These diploma programs cover various fields such as  Business Management, project management, cyber laws, forensic science, library automation networking, communicative English, infection prevention control, community eye health, and other skill enhancement programs. Some programs are conducted jointly with organizations like NIRD, ICAR-NAARM, BSNL-RTTC, Truth Labs, IFCAI, LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), and TeamLease Edtech.

Students who are already pursuing full-time courses can also enroll in these programs simultaneously. Hyderabad University Distance Education study materials are available in soft copy to admitted students, and video lectures and Online study sessions are conducted. Diploma in Telecom Technology & Management (DTTM)	If you've finished engineering in areas like ECE, EEE, or other related fields, or if you studied another type of engineering but had electronics in your subjects, you're good to go. Also, if you've got an M.Sc in Electronics or AMIE, you're eligible, too. If you're not an engineering graduate but have studied subjects like Electronics, Physics, Maths, or Computer Science and have two years of experience in Telecommunications, you can apply as well. And if you have a Diploma in ECE or EEE, it's like having two years of experience already. These rules ensure that everyone with the right background can apply them.
