SO HOW EXACTLY THE MARKS IS ALLOCATED IN CAT

4 marks are allotted for the correct answers. But, there is a negative marking for the wrong answer.

WHAT ABOUT CUT-OFFS?

To qualify, a minimum mark is required. The minimum marks differ upon the relative difficulty level of that particular section compared to other sections. Certain Sectional cut-offs differ based on the performance. To earn GD/PI calls from IIMs, a candidate must also secure the least total cut-off for the entire paper. But don’t worry, different IIMs use different cut-offs and compromises.

Speaking of other institutes, there are, of course, institutes that offer post-graduate courses in business and management.
