Indian Institute Management, Indore (IIM, Indore) has published the official notice on its respective website stating that it will be the co-ordinating body for the CAT 2020 entrance examination. As per the notice IIM Indore also asked Non-IIM institutions who like to use CAT 2020 score required to fill up the application form and MOU for CAT membership with in 15th July 2020.In the declared notice, IIM have also asked to upload all the required documents by 15th July 2020.
CAT (Common Admission Test) is will be held in computer-based mode for the candidates who are seeking to get admission into MBA Course.CAT 2020 applications forms will be available from 8th August 2020 and CAT 2020 Examination will be held in the month of November 2020.
IIM Indore released the application forms and MOU (memorandum of understanding) for non-IIM business schools for CAT membership to use CAT scores. The application forms will be available at the official website of IIM (iimidr.ac.in.) Institutes are advised to fill the application form with in last date in order to attain membership.
As per the notice, Non-IIMs should submit the copy of their accreditation certificate which is issued under MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Department) or they can submit the approved certificate which is issued by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) or any other equivalent statutory accreditation body.
Non-IIMs must make the payment of online membership & annual fees which charges INR 3.4 Lakhs along with the processing charge INR 200 in order to obtain CAT membership. Non-IIMs institutions if they like to shortlist the candidates based on CAT Score for MBA admission can follow the steps which is mentioned below
Step 1 -At first, click on the available “application form link and the MoU link “by visiting the respective website of IIM (iimidr.ac.in.)
Step 2 - Non- IIMs need to pay the required membership & processing fees which is non-refundable
Step 3 - Non-IIM institutions need to send the scanned images of the necessary documents in a prescribed via Email for cat2020@iimidr.ac.in
Step 4 – Institutions who wish to use CAT 2020 scores need to send the two copies, one is application form and other one is MOU along with the original documents to the admission office of IIM Indore before 15 July 2020 through post
