Vemana Institute of technology is a government run institution and was established in the year of 1999 in the capital city of Karnataka, Bengaluru. It is affiliated to VTU. The institute is ranked Grade A by Career360. The institute was set up under the guidance of Reddy Jana Sangha with an aim to enhance educational opportunities to rural and weaker communities of the society and to enable them to challenge the life. This institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate program which is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Infrastructure is good with all possible facilities including comfortable hostels, classrooms, library, Bank facilities, medical, IT infrastructure, gym, sports etc. It offers all graduate and postgraduate courses, and the admissions are on the basis on entrance examinations like Karnataka common entrance test (KCET) and Karnataka post graduate common entrance test (KPGCET). The faculties are really good in this college; they are very supportive towards all students. Maximum teachers are well experienced, hardworking and knowledgeable. Their way of interacting with students is extraordinary. When it comes to placements, the placements are just ok; many good companies are invited for the placement procedure. According to my seniors analysis internship program will be starting soon for the upcoming batches. Companies like Wipro and Infosys approaches our college for placements and 67% students are placed.
