RNSIT was ranked 149th out of the top engineering institutions in India. To be eligible for admission to the BTech program, students must pass the KCET or COMEDK. On the other hand, the ultimate seat distribution will be carried out by KEA-managed KCET Counseling. RNS Institute of Technology fee structure for BTech is INR 1.17 Lakhs (1st Year Fees). Two adjacent hostels for boys and girls have been built by the institute; the hostel can house about 530 boys and 300 females. RNSIT hostel fee structure is INR 1.15 lakhs. The hostel mess served delicious and wholesome South Indian meals three times a day to the residents.
