Government Science College located in Ahmedabad, was started in the academic year of 2006. The College was bought into existence with an aim to provide quality higher education in wide ranging area accompanied by extra mural and outreach activities with a sense of completeness and to provide flexibility in the courses, adapting to innovative methods in learning approach to equip youth to face the future as a responsible citizens of an evolved society. The institution provides adequate opportunity for the development by means of training and research to students, staff and faculties. The college was approved by UGC and is affiliated with Gujarat University.

• Government Science College offers Bachelor’s of science in Biotechnology, Environmental science, Health & Hygiene; Bachelor of Computer Applications and Master of Science in Biotechnology & Environmental Science. These courses are available under various specializations.
• Fee Structure of all the courses is quite feasible and can be paid in instalments per annum. Faculties of the college are highly educated and are well experienced in their respective domains.
• Total intake of students into Bachelor’s programmes is around 120 students per annum and there is total 60 seats for Master in Science programmes.
• For admission into under graduate courses, candidate must have completed 10+2 level examination under relevant subjects from a recognised board of education.
• For admission into Masters programmes, B. Sc degree from a recognised board of education is mandatory with at least 50% aggregate score.
