YCEE B. Tech eligibility/selection criteria

  • For admission to the B Tech at YCEE, you have to finish 10 + 2 with mathematics, chemistry and physics, and your aggregate should be 50%.
  • The students should go through the JEE Main/ MHT-CET, which will get them through admissions. All   India seats are 15 per cent, and the remaining 85 per cent seats are Maharashtra state seats.
  • For B Tech Lateral Entry, candidates have to pass Diploma in engineering streams, and they must have secured 50% aggregate marks. However, even BSc graduates can seek admission to the B Tech Lateral Entry.
  • Candidates who wish to secure admission seats under Government Quota have to apply through MHTCET rank followed by CAP counselling (Centralized Admission Process)

YCEE M. Tech eligibility/selection criteria  

  • Students who wish to secure admission to the M Tech at YCEE have to score a valid score in GATE Entrance Exam.
  • In addition, candidates shall have completed their UG degree with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.
  • The selection of the students will be done through a GATE score followed by a personal interview.

YCEE application process

·Yeshwantrao Chavan College offers admission under both institute level quota & CAP (Centralized admission process)

  • For CAP, eligible applicants have to register through the DTE website. The registration is entirely online.
  • Through CAP rounds, the final seat allocation is based on the student's valid rank in MHTCET/GATE and choice of preferences.
  • Students who wish to apply under ILQ (Institute level quota), must fill the application form by downloading.
  • Students have to visit the YCEE's official website to download the Yeshwantrao Chavan College application form.
  • The application fees charge INR 1000, which can be paid through Demand Draft.

Those who have completed a B-Tech program and are certified by a recognized University will be selected based on academic merit followed by GATE scores.
