Vishwakarma Government Engineering College was established in 1994 in Ahmedabad. VGEC is affiliated with GTU and got recognition from the AICTE. VGEC offers BE/B Tech at the UG level and M Tech at the PG level in multiple specializations. Admission at VGEC is offered based on the qualifying exam's entrance exam and academic merit. VGEC conducts both online and offline application processes. The students should ensure the minimum eligibility criteria before applying for admission.

VGEC offers B Tech in nine branches with an annual intake of 60-120 seats for each branch. The specializations are: Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Communication, Information Technology, Instrumentation, and Control Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical

VGEC offers M Tech in two core streams at the PG level with an annual intake of 18 seats. The M Tech specializations are Chemical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Vishwakarma Government Engineering College BE Admission:

VGEC provides undergraduate courses in engineering under nine different courses. The program is full-time, and the duration is 4 years, over eight semesters.

  • Candidates seeking admission in BE at VGEC must undertake a state-level or national-level entrance exam GUJCET or JEE Main.
  • Candidates must perform well in exams and score according to the VGEC GUJCET Cut-off Eligibility prescribed by the admission authority.
  • Along with the entrance exam score, candidates must acquire at least 55% marks in the 10+2 board exam. Shall have studied PCM as a major subject in 10+2.

Vishwakarma Government Engineering College M Tech admission:

VGEC provides M Tech courses at the PG level. The duration of the program is two years, spread into four semesters. Candidates seeking admission to the M Tech at VGEC must qualify in the GATE exam with a valid score. Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic marks and entrance exam scores. Later, shortlisted candidates have to attend the final selection round, which is a personal interview.
