University of Delhi Directorate of Distance Education is a government open learning school established in 1962. The admission notifications for the current academic session will begin soon and are expected to release in June. This school was formerly known as the School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education and presently, School of Open Learning, Delhi University.

The university is popularly called as Delhi University; it is one of the largest universities in India. The university has gained approval by the AICTE and is recognized by the UGC. The school had an initial capacity of 900 students and has gone on to increase to several thousand due to its high quality of education and simplicity of exam structure.
