Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2020

University of Delhi Directorate of Distance Education is a government open learning school established in the year 1962 and the admission notifications for the current academic session will begin soon and is expected to release in the month of June. This school was formerly known as School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education and presently, School of Open learning, Delhi University.

  • University of Delhi offers courses such as B.A, B.A (Hons) and B.Com (Hons) as distance learning course under the bachelor degree and M.A and M.Com in various specializations as post graduation level degree.
  • The application form to be filled correctly through valid phone number and email Id within the stipulated date.  After this registration process is successful one can produce the academic details and personal details along with relevant documents.
  • University of Delhi Directorate of Distance Education application form can be obtained at the North Delhi Campus, Main centre or from the South Moti Bagh, New Delhi Study centre. The application form can be filled online through the SOL Official website.
  • For UG courses like BA, B.Com and B.A (Hons) eligibility criteria will be 10+2 completed in relevant stream and the DU SOL, New Delhi admissions will be merit based.
  • University of Delhi, Directorate of Distance Education admissions for PG courses will be done based on the two criteria, firstly considering the academic performance and entrance examination.
  • For PG programs, 50% of the total seats would be filled on the basis of merit and the remaining 50% marks would be filled through entrance examination based followed by group discussion and personal interview.
  • The seta allotment of UG courses would be according to the cut-off list released by university and selected candidates will be called for document verification.
  • The application fee to be paid while submitting in this college will be Rs. 500 general category and INR 250 for SC/ST/PH.

The University Of Delhi Directorate Of Distance Education was established in the year 1922 with the idea of providing extremely good quality of education for students aspiring to take up studies in correspondence. The university is popularly called as Delhi University; it is one of the largest universities in India. The university has gained approval by the AICTE and is recognized by the UGC. It is a central university as a result it have the most diverse universities one could find in India. Admissions into DU can be done online through the official portal of the college. The school had an initial capacity of 900 students and has gone on to increase to several thousand due to its high quality of education and simplicity of exam structure.
