University of Delhi Directorate of Distance Education is a government open learning school established in 1962. The admission notifications for the current academic session will begin soon and are expected to release in June. This school was formerly known as the School of Correspondence Courses and Continuing Education and presently, School of Open Learning, Delhi University.

  • The University of Delhi offers courses such as B.A, B. A (Hons) and B.Com (Hons) as distance learning courses under the bachelor degree and M.A and M.Com in various specializations as post-graduation level degree.
  • The application form to be filled correctly through a valid phone number and email Id within the stipulated date.  After this registration process is successful, one can produce the academic details and personal details, and relevant documents.
  • University of Delhi Directorate of Distance Education application form can be obtained at the North Delhi Campus, Main center, or the South Moti Bagh, New Delhi Study center. The application form can be filled online through the SOL Official website.
  • For UG courses like BA, B.Com, and B. A (Hons) eligibility criteria will be 10+2 completed in the relevant stream, and the DU SOL, New Delhi admissions will be merit-based.
  • The University of Delhi, Directorate of Distance Education admissions for PG courses will be done based on the two criteria, firstly considering the academic performance and entrance examination.
  • For PG programs, 50% of the total seats would be filled based on merit, and the remaining 50% marks would be filled through the entrance examination based on group discussion and personal interviews.
  • The set allotment of UG courses would be according to the university's cut-off list, and selected candidates will be called for document verification.
  • The application fee to be paid while submitting to this college will be Rs. 500 general category and INR 250 for SC/ST/PH.
