The University of Calicut runs the MBA Programme at the Department of Commerce and Management Studies.
Admission to the MBA program is based on the KMAT Kerala entrance exam conducted by Kannur University or CMAT/CAT/MAT score, Interview, and the marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
Calicut University will invite applications for admission to the MBA course after the announcement of the result of KMAT Kerala on the official website of Calicut University. The candidate those who wish to join the course can apply through the website.
MBA/PGDM Eligibility Criteria
You should have passed any bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks from the University of Calicut or any other university or institute recognized by the UGC or AICTE. If you have a bachelor’s degree from the School of Distance Education, University of Calicut, then you are also eligible for MBA program admission.

Calicut University will invite applications for admission to the MBA course after the announcement of Kerala KMAT’s result on the official website. The candidate those who wish to join the course can apply through the website.
Apply online through the Calicut University website with the help of the following steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Calicut University.
Step 2: Find the link "PG entrance 2018/MBA Admission 2018" for remitting fees and submitting an online application.
Step 3: After submitting the online application, select the purpose "Application fee for MBA Admission 2018" while processing the Challan.
Step4: After payment, take a printout of the filled application form.

It would help if you had to send the printout of the application along with the original challan receipt and a self-addressed Rs.5/- stamped envelope (26cmx15cm) directly to ‘The Head, Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Calicut University Campus, University of Calicut, Malappuram 673 635’ to reach the same on or before May 25, 2018.
The application process for the KMAT Kerala Entrance exam
The application for KMAT Kerala should be submitted online at www. lbs centerInin/kmat2018 from December 02, 2016 (Tentative)onwards. The application fee for the general category is Rs. 800/- and for the SC/ST candidate is Rs. 500/-. The last date for submitting the online application is March 20, 2018(Tentative).

You can fill online application after 24 hours of payment of the application fee. There are given some points for online application submission.
Note: It is not required to send the hard copy of the application form.
MBA/PGDM Selection Procedure
The admission to the MBA program shall be made based on the score in the entrance test called KMAT Kerala or CAT / CMAT conducted by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE)/MAT, the marks of the Group Discussion, Personal Interview and the marks obtained by the candidates in the Plus Two /Pre-degree examination put together in the following proportion:
The candidates will be ranked according to the following criteria:
Entrance test score: 120 marks
Plus Two / PDC marks: 30 marks
Group discussion: 25 marks
Personal Interview: 25 marks
The minimum required test score is 10% (5% for SC/ST candidates) marks.
Almost every candidate will undergo KEAM counselling through which Calicut University admissions to B.Tech will take place. By May I had registered for processing with admission process and it is necessary to fill the application form by then. There is no hostel facility provided but then PG’s and rented rooms are available near the college campus
Calicut University Admission for MBA requirement: The candidate should’ve pursued their bachelor’s degree in any university recognized by the UGC or AICTE and in any stream having secured a min. of 50% average marks. The candidates will have to take the entrance tests either the national level CMAT/CAT/XAT/GMAT or the state-level KMAT. The score obtained in the test will determine the candidates’ possibility of making it further. The next round will included the group discussion followed by a personal interview in the college. The candidates will have to apply online by paying INR 500 for general category and INR 167 for SC/ST candidates.
