SVCE B Tech  selection criteria

• Generally, Swami Vivekanand College offers admission to B Tech based on entrance test score as well academic merit in 10+2.
• Candidates willing to take admission in the SVCE for the BE program should appear in JEE-Mains. NTA administrates the JEE Main.
• Based on JEE Main Results, candidates are required to register themselves under the DTE, Madhya Pradesh. The final seat allocation will be done through counselling administrated by DTE MP. The counselling registration process is entirely online.
• The DTE MP Counselling concludes steps namely: Online registration based on JEE Main Rank, Displaying Merit List, Document Verification, Option filling round and at last final seat allotment takes place.
• The competent authority will prepare the merit list by considering the scores of JEE Main. Authority will allot the merit rank for each registered individual.
• While filling the option entry form, candidates have to choose their preference as "SVCE".

SVCE M Tech eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria for M Tech admission at SVCE are mentioned below.

• To be eligible to apply for the M Tech degree in SVCE, applicants must hold a B Tech degree or equivalent in the concerned stream.
• The candidates must achieve a minimum of 50% marks in all of the subjects added together.
• A relaxation of 5% aggregate marks will be offered to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.

SVCE M Tech selection criteria

• The admission in the M Tech program at SVCE is entrance exam-based.
• Thus, M Tech admission seekers have to undertake the National level entrance exam GATE.
• GATE is a joint entrance exam conducted at all Indian levels. It is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).
• Students' selection will be based on the marks secured in the common entrance exam GATE followed by DTE MP Online counselling.

SVCE MBA eligibility criteria

• Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program at Swami Vivekanand College must hold a Bachelor's degree in any stream.
• The degree should be provided by any university approved by the joint committee of UGC or AIU, New Delhi.
• The applicants should have scored a minimum of 50% in aggregation at the UG level.
• For the candidates belonging to the reserved category, the minimum aggregate marks would be 45%.

SVCE MBA selection criteria

• Candidates' selection criteria to the MBA program at SVCE is either an entrance exam or merit-based.
• SVCE accepts the valid score of the national level entrance exam CAT or CMAT. Thus, candidates shall have cleared any of the entrance tests with a valid score.
• The candidates seeking admission to the MBA program at SVCE should apply through DTE counselling as a primary step.  
• The candidates are required to fill a DTE MP Counselling registration form with all the details and submit it. It is mandatory to upload the scorecard of CAT or CMAT.
• After the registration process, a final merit list will be released by DTE. The merit list is evaluated by considering the scores of the entrance test as well UG marks.
• The selection of the candidates will be based on the merit list released by the DTE.
• The selected candidates will have to report to the institute campus for document verification and a further admission round.

SVCE Diploma eligibility/selection criteria

• The candidates must have passed the 10th board. The applicants must have scored a minimum of 35% marks in aggregation.
• Swami Vivekanand College offers an entrance exam mode of Diploma admission.
• Henceforth, candidates willing to apply for Diploma admission in SVCE have to appear for the state level entrance test MP PPT.

• MP PPT is a common entrance exam for the Polytechnic program conducted by the Madhya Pradesh state government.
• Diploma Selection Criteria at SVCE will be based on the marks scored in the common entrance exam MP PPT followed by online counselling
• The admission of candidates in the Diploma program will be rolled out by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), State government of Madhya Pradesh.
