SSCET offers engineering courses at a UG level for the students willing to pursue a BE degree from the institute.

• The college provides five specializations in the BE course. The specializations of the BE course include Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering.
• Admission to the B Tech at SSCET is based on the candidate’s TNEA Rank. Anna University will prepare the merit or rank list by considering 12th academic marks.
• Students who have obtained at least 45% in 10+2 PCM subjects are eligible to secure admission by filling a TNEA application form.
• Once the application process gets conclude, Anna University will publish the TNEA Rank or Merit List. Students whose names are shortlisted through the merit list have to attend the counselling sessions.
