If someone is seeking admission in SSN College of Engineering, the eligibility criteria is simple. The student must pass the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and secure around 50–60% marks, which means they should be from the science stream in their plus 2. Admission is mainly done through the Tamil Nadu engineering counselling process based on Class 12 marks. There is no separate entrance exam like KCET or COMEDK for most seats. Students are allotted seats based on their merit and cut-off marks during counselling. They can also take admission through the management quota depending on merit and seat availability. In the government counselling quota, students usually pay lower fees, while management quota seats have higher fees for the same course. If possible, students should try to get admission through counselling because it is more affordable.

The admission procedure at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management is very easy and similar to other private engineering colleges in Karnataka. Students must complete 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and have 50% in their Boards exams. Admissions are mainly done through some entrance exams like KCET, COMEDK, and JEE Main. KCET is only for Karnataka state students, while COMEDK and JEE Main are open to students from all over India. Based on the entrance exam rank they have secured , students can take part in counseling and choose their favorite branch. Students who did not give any entrance exams can still take admission in the college through admission quota.

I wish to say that admission fee in my college is actually very much nominal and I can say it is reasonable too. Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management admissions for BE will be granted on the basis of entrance test score. I gave KCET and secured valid score and then I attended the counseling in optional I had choosed this college because I had heard the positive feedbacks about college then i was eligible with the secured score to get admission.
