P.T. Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker College of Engineering and Technology (PTLCNCET) is a private college established in 2001. The college campus is situated in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu State. AICTE approves the courses offered by PTLCNCET. Since the college is affiliated with Anna University, it follows the admission guidelines prescribed by University. Currently, PTLCNCET offers BE/B Tech at the UG level in multiple disciplines. Admission to B Tech is based on merit, followed by TNEA counselling.

The PTLCNCET offers admission to the undergraduate (UG) degrees of B. Tech in five major engineering specializations. The course duration is four years, and the annual intake is 60 seats per branch.

• Primarily a candidate is supposed to register for TNEA, which will further release a merit list based on 10+12 marks. Thus, students must score a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in 10+2.
• Anna University is responsible for releasing the TNEA merit list by considering 10+2 marks. The registration process for TNEA is online.
• Later, candidates will be allowed to participate in the TNEA counselling only if their name is mentioned in the TNEA rank or merit list.

Admission at PTLCNCET for undergraduate (UG) program B.E/ B. Tech will be based on the TNEA merit list, then counselling through the guidelines undertaken by Anna University. First of all, candidates are supposed to register for the respective entrance exams by going to their official websites of TNEA.
Application procedure to register for TNEA:

• Go to the official website of the college by browsing for it on the search bar.
• On the homepage, click on apply now link option, and proceed with the application.
• Enter the required documents in the hierarchy as mentioned in the form.
• When done with the registration process, logging credentials are sent.
• Using these logging credentials, fill the TNEA application form.
• Make the payment of application fees online. The registration fees cost approx 500/-
• Then submit the application form in the prescribed period.
