Adhi College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) was established in 2008. It is a private engineering college recognized by the government of Tamil Nadu. The college environment is immensely filled with greenery, which provides students with the benefit of maintaining a fruitful lifestyle. ACET is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Anna University (AU), Chennai. The college aims to give a graduate immense technical exposure with quality education. ACET offers admission in the undergraduate program Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and postgraduate program of Master of Engineering (M.E).To apply for admissions, students must full fill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the college.

ACET provides admission in the UG program BE/ B.Tech. Five specializations are available in BE. Getting admission in the B.E/ B. Tech program at ACET depends on TNEA Merit Rank. Anna University releases the merit list based on 10+2 Marks. First, aspirants have to register for TNEA Counselling based on their 12th score. Then, Anna University publishes the TNEA Merit list.

B.E/ B. Tech

 

Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering,

Students are required to have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+12 PCM subjects or equivalent to be eligible for admission in the B.E/ B. Tech program at ACET.

 

Selection is done based on TNEA merit list rank and counselling.

Adhi College of Engineering and Technology M.E/ M. Tech Admission   

M.E/ M. Tech qualification at ACET is available in two domains: Communication System Engineering and Engineering Design. The annual intake of students for M Tech is 24 seats per branch.

  • A prominent requirement for the students is that they must also clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET. Anna University will conduct the TANCET.
  • Thus, students are advised to register themselves for the entrance exam of TANCET and perform well in equivalence to the minimum cut-off criteria set by ACET.

Adhi College of Engineering and Technology Application Process
Admission to the BE and ME programs at ACET will be made according to the guidelines specified by Anna University. At first, students have to register themselves online for the respective entrance exams by logging into the official website. (TNEA or TANCET)

  • Go on the homepage of the website and click on apply now link
  • Register by entering the required details, and once the registration process is done, you will receive the login credentials.
  • Using those login credentials, fill in the TNEA application form.
  • Mention all the required details precisely in the form.
