PIET B Tech Admission

At the UG level, PIET offers a bachelor of Engineering, B.Tech., B.Tech.(Lateral). The BE/B Tech specializations available at PIET are :

PIET B Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

• For B Tech admission in PIET, candidates must have completed 10+2/Class XII with English, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory courses and received a minimum of 50% aggregate grade.
• To be eligible for the B Tech Lateral Entry programme at PIET, candidates must have completed a three-year diploma programme or BSc in the relevant field with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

PIET B Tech  Selection Criteria

• The selection for the B Tech course at PIET depends on students' performance in MHT CET or JEE Main, followed by CAP Counselling conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
• The final merit list will be compiled using the JEE Main score or MHT CET and the marks acquired in class 10+2.
• Students whose names are enlisted in the merit list can participate in CAP Rounds.
• Candidates are required to do online registration for CAP. Then, upload the documents. Finally, the document verification procedure will be done at the facilitation center.
• Later, students are required to fill the option entry form, to choose college & branches.
• If students satisfy the PIET's B Tech cut off norms defined by the college, they will have a high chance to secure an admission seat.
• Students will receive an allotment letter after the seat allocation process. Later, students have to visit the respective college along with an allotment letter to report

PIET M.Tech Admission

At the postgraduate level, PIET provides M.Tech degrees in three streams.

• Chemical Technology
• Computer Science & Engg
• Electronics & Telecommunication Engg

M Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

• A candidate must be an Indian-national & must have possessed a bachelor's degree to be eligible for M Tech admission in PIET.
• Candidates for the M.Tech course at PIET are chosen based on their performance in the GATE or CET organized by competent authority as per norms of DTE, Maharashtra.
• Candidates who meet the PIET M Tech cut-off norms will be invited to participate in the admissions process at PIET.

PIET Applicaton Process

Admission to all of PIET's courses is based solely on the qualifying examination results and the entrance exam results. Therefore Students must either register for CAP or apply at the Institute level directly.

• For Management Seats at PIET, candidates can fill the application form via online or offline. To apply online, candidates should visit the authorized website of the college.

• Candidates can obtain an Admission Form/Prospectus, Brochure, and college magazine from the administrative office by paying INR 1200 in the form of a Demand Draft made payable to "Principal Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur."
• Candidates should contact the Admission Center In-charge if they have any problems.
• At the Admission Cell/Admission Data Entry Center, an applicant's correctly completed Admission Form should be scrutinized.
• In the Administrative Office/Admission Data Entry Center, submit the Admission Form, original papers, and payment slip.
• Candidates must collect the Confirmation letter from the Admission In-Charge after completing all of the steps.
