Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital (NHMC), New Delhi, is a government homoeopathic medical college set up in 1967. The college operates under the Government of NCT of Delhi and is also attached to the University of Delhi (DU). It has received accreditation from the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH). Its infrastructure houses a 100-bed teaching hospital besides well-furnished laboratories, a modern-day library, a drugstore, residence facilities, and clinical teaching areas to the point where it can provide very good training facilities both academically and professionally through Homoeopathy.
In the college, apart from the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) programme, students can study MD (Homoeopathy)
as one of the advanced courses. In the case of BHMS admissions, it is the NEET UG 2026 that is the major criteria used; MD admissions are decided by the AIAPGET (Homoeopathy) result. The college has a sanctioned total of 125 that can be enrolled for the BHMS programme as BHMS seats

Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College BHMS Admission 2026

Entering into the BHMS course means that the NEET UG 2026 result has to be good followed by being a candidate at AACCC AYUSH Counselling. One has to clear NEET UG and join the central counselling programme. The BHMS course has a duration of 5.5 years, which includes one year that is compulsory, i.e., rotatory internship.

The applicant must satisfy the following conditions before applying:

  • The candidate should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as main subjects.
  • For the General category, students scoring 50% in PCB at least is required.
  • Reserved category students require 40% in PCB.
  • Applicants must be 17 years old or above as from the 31 December 2026.
  • In case a candidate gets into the college, then he/she has to be the one who is a NEET 2026 UG qualified candidate.

  • Get a satisfactory score in NEET UG.
  • Sign up and register for a place at AACCC AYUSH Counselling, etc.
  • Verify your documents.
  • You can then select the colleges and lock your preferences.

Students applying for admission to the BHMS must have a valid rank in NEET Exam as per the cutoff eligibility defined by the college. 85% of seats are reserved under Delhi Quota, and the remaining 15% of seats are applicable for the All India Quota. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with PCB as main along with English as one of the subjects securing a minimum of 50% aggregate. Admission to BHMS at NHMC is made on the basis of a valid score in NEET UG. Further, based on NEET, UG counselling is conducted by the college.
