Nandha College of Technology (NCT) was established in the year 2008. It is a private self-financed institute affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. AICTE approves the UG and PG courses offered by NCT. Despite being a private college, it provides all the facilities at affordable prices to capacitate quality learning irrespective of academic background. NCT offers admission to the B Tech/BE at the UG level and ME/M Tech at the PG level. Admission at NCT College is based on entrance exam scores and merit.
NCT College of Technology BE/B Tech Admission
NCT College offers admission to the UG course BE/B Tech in five specializations. The total intake for each branch is 60 seats.

  • TNEA Merit list is used to determine admission to NCT College's B Tech programme. The TNEA merit list for Anna University will be based on 10+2 marks.
  • To be considered for admission, students must have received at least 50% in 10+2 PCM subjects.
  • Students must first register for TNEA Counselling depending on their 12th grade. Anna University will release the TNEA Merit list later.
  • Students whose names appear on the list are invited to attend a TNEA Counselling session to fill out their choices. The final seat allocation takes place through counselling.

To get admitted to B.Tech, you must have received a minimum of 50% in 12th grade.

TNEA Rank is used to select candidates, followed by counselling.

NCT College of Technology M Tech Admission
M Tech degree at NCT College is available in two specializations. The annual intake capacity for M Tech is 18 seats. The specializations are computer science and engineering, communication systems.

  • B Tech graduates who have obtained more than 50% marks can seek admission to the M Tech at NCTCT
  • In addition, students have to obtain a valid rank in the TANCET entrance exam. Anna University will be conducting the TANCET exam.
  • As a result, students must apply for an entrance exam and score well enough to meet NCT College's minimum cut-off criterion.

Admission to the BE/B Tech or M Tech programmes will be based on Anna University's standards. Students must first register for the appropriate entrance tests online by visiting the official website. (TANCET or TNEA)
How to apply for TNEA?

  • Go to the college's official website.
  • Go to the homepage and click the Apply Now button.
  • Fill out the needed information to register. You will receive your login credentials once you have completed the registration procedure.
  • Fill out a TNEA application form using those login credentials. Fill in the form with all of the necessary information.
  • Make your application fee payment online. TNEA application fees are approximately 500/-
  • Then, within the timeframe specified, submit the application form.
