Pavai College of Technology, commonly known as PCT, was established in 2009. The college's motto is to provide prominent practical education to future technocrats and make them learn the art of being independent in all perspectives in their lifetime. This college is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and has gained affiliation from Anna University. The college offers courses BE/B Tech at the UG level and ME/M Tech at the PG level. Admission at PCT is based on an entrance exam, academic merit, followed by counselling.
Pavai College of Technology B.E/ B. TECH Admission

• PCT provides admission in multiple specializations: Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Biotechnology, Mechatronics, Safety Engineering and Mechanical.
• Admission for the B.E / B. tech program in PCT is based on the merit list released by TNEA based on 10+2 marks.
• Candidates obtaining a minimum aggregate of 45% in PCM subjects in 10+12 or equivalent can apply for admission in PCT.
• The first thing a candidate is supposed to do is register for the TNEA Counselling based on their 10+2 qualifying marks. Later, Anna University will release the TNEA Rank List.

Pavai College of Technology M.E./M. TECH Admission

• PCT provides a post-graduate level degree of M. Tech in Engineering Design and VLSI Design. The annual intake of the M Tech is 24 seats.
• Candidates who have completed graduation in B.E/ B. TECH with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission to the M. TECH program at PCT.
• In addition, candidates must clear TANCET with a good rank as equal to the cut off criteria defined by the college.

Pavai College of Technology  Application Process
The college's admission for the BE/ B. Tech is based on the TNEA merit list. For the post-graduate program, M. Tech is based on the TANCET entrance exam score and then counselling through the guidelines issued by Anna University. Firstly, candidates should register for the respective entrance exams by going to their official TNEA or TANCET.
