Muthayammal College of Engineering (MCE) was founded in the academic year of 2000 by Muthuyammal Educational Trust and Research Foundation to enhance the level of the rural population by providing them an avenue to go for technical education. With 20 years since its establishment, it has now become an autonomous institution in the state.

• MCE is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Anna University (AU), Chennai.

MCE offers admission in five undergraduate courses of B.E/ B. Tech for four years. Admission at MEC in B.E/ B. Tech is based on the TNEA merit list and rank obtained in it; the TNEA merit list is released based on 10+12 marks.

• After getting the rank desired by the college, follow the counselling procedure laid by Anna University.
• The primary step is to register for TNEA counselling and then after getting the required rank to follow the procedures of counselling enlisted by Anna University (AU).

Muthayammal College of Engineering M. Tech Admission
MCE bestows Post Graduate Level degree of M. Tech in two provinces: Thermal Engineering and Structural Engineering. The duration of the course ranges from two years. The intake for M Tech is 18 seats per branch.

• Students who have done their graduation in BE/ B. TECH and have secured a minimum of 50% score in the duration of the prior course are eligible to apply for admission to the M. Tech program at MCE.
• In continuation to this, students must give TANCET and qualify it with the desired score mentioned by the college. Then, follow the procedures of counselling as enlisted by Anna University and get admitted to MCE.
• Thus, candidates are required to register for TANCET and be through with the minimum cut-off desired by the college for admission in the post-graduate program of M. Tech at MCE.
