Mahendra College of Engineering (MCE) was initiated by Mahendra Education Trust in 2005 as a step to improvise the quality of education for juveniles. It is located in the educational Salem district of Tamil Nadu state.MCE has accreditation from NAAC with a 'B' grade. It is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Anna University (AU), Chennai.

  • MCE offers admission in courses at the Undergraduate (UG) level in the name of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/ (B. TECH), at the postgraduate level in the name of Master of Engineering (M.E)/ M. Tech, Master of computer application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA), and at the doctoral level of Ph. D.
  • Admission at MCE is based on merit rank obtained in the merit list released by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA), for the Undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.

Mahendra College of Engineering (MCE) BE/B Tech Admission
Mahendra College offers admission to the B Tech in five specializations: Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, and Information Technology. This particular course's duration is four years. The number of seats is 60 seats per branch.

  • The criterion for admission in B.E/ B. TECH program at MCE is based on TNEA merit rank in the merit list released by Anna University.
  • TNEA releases the merit list based on 10+12 marks, and then following the counselling procedures by Anna University, one gets admission.
  • A student is expected to score minimum marks of 50% in class 10+12 to apply for admission in the B.E/ B. TECH program at MCE.

The M.E/ M. Tech degree at MCE is available in three domains: Computer Science Engineering, Structural Engineering, and VLSI & Embedded Systems. The annual intake of students for this postgraduate course is 18 seats per branch.

  • BE/ B.Tech graduates who have acquired more than 50% marks can apply for admission at MCE in M.E/ M. Tech program.
  • Along with this, students have to clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET. Anna University will conduct the TANCET.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is also provided at MCE to eligible candidates at the postgraduate level in four jurisdictions. The duration of the course is of two years.

  • Undergraduates of any course who have secured more than 50% marks in the duration of their course can apply for admission at MCE in the MBA program.
  • It is also mandatory to clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET, conducted by Anna University.

The criterion for admission in MCE for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral courses are based on the guidelines provided by Anna University (AU). The first step for the students seeking admission to the B Tech at MCE is registering for the TNEA. On that basis of 12th marks, the merit list will be released.   • By using those logging credentials, fill the TNEA application form by filling in all the details required in the form, articulately.
  • Complete your application process by making fee payment for the same, which amounts approximately to Rs.500/-.
  • Then take a screenshot of the successful payment made.

After completing the above-mentioned steps, submit the application form in due time.
