The candidates must fulfil the following criteria laid by the MGUI to seek admission for the B Tech branches. B Tech at MGUI is available in six disciplines.

• The candidate must complete 10 + 2 education from a recognized board. It is mandatory to obtain 50% marks in 10 + 2 for general and OBC categories. Students belonging to SC/ST category must obtain 45% marks.
• In addition, candidates have to clear the national level entrance exam that is JEE Main. The merit list will be considered by JEE Main score and academic marks.
