Mahatma Gandhi College was brought into existence in 1991 under the Sri Vasavi Academy of General and Technical Education banner in the Guntur district of Indian state Andhra Pradesh. It offers various undergraduate and post-graduate degree programs affiliated with Acharya Nagarjuna University. AICTE accredits the institute for the academic courses offered.
