LNCT B.Tech Specializations

LNCT B.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

• Candidates must have completed 10+2 in PCM with a minimum of 45% marks from any recognized board to be considered for B Tech admission in Lakshmi Narain College.
• Candidates who are SC, ST, or PWD are given a 5-year time limit and a 5% reduction in their qualifying exam aggregate score.
• Candidates for the B.Tech course at LNCT are chosen based on their JEE-Main result, followed by online counselling conducted by DTE, Madhya Pradesh.
• Complete details of DTE Counselling will be available on the official website of competent authority. Henceforth, LNCT grants admission to the B Tech as per the norms laid down by MP Government.
• B Tech Admission seekers have to visit the DTE MP online portal and are required to register themselves based on their JEE Main results.
• The final seat allotment process will be carried forward through counselling. 90% of seats will be filled through Online Counselling.
• Any students who wish to apply for B Tech admission under Management Quota at LNCT are required to visit the campus in person. Then appraoch the admission authority for Management seats.
• Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Engineering & Technology or a B.Sc. degree with a minimum of 45% are eligible for B Tech Lateral Entry admission in LNCT.

LNCT MBA  Admission

LNCT offers admission to the MBA at the PG level. MBA at Lakshmi Narain College is available in six disciplines.

LNCT MBA Eligibility/Selection Criteria

• Aspirants seeking MBA admission in Lakshmi Narain College must hold any UG degree with aggregate marks of 50%.

• The total aggregate score in the qualifying exam is relaxed that is 5% for SC/ST/OBC Categories.
• MBA Selection Criteria at LNCT are purely based on their performance in national level entrance exams.
• Henceforth LNCT accepts the valid scores of CAT/ MAT/ CMAT scores. Candidates who qualify in the entrance test with an eligible score have to participate in further selection rounds that is GD/PI.
• Candidates who are in their final year degree and awaiting for results can also apply to LNCT for MBA admission.

LNCT M Tech  Admission

• M Tech at LNCT is available in three engg branches. The annual intake for M Tech is 18 seats.
• The M Tech specializations offered by LNCT are Thermal Engg, CSE, Digital Communication.
• For admission to the M Tech at LNCT, candidates must have completed a UG degree in the concerned discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. They must have studied B Tech, BSc, BCA (Computer Science)
• M Tech Selection Criteria at LNCT depends on the student's performance in GATE Entrance Test. Selected candidates have to appear for a Personal Interview.

LNCT MCA Admission

• Lakshmi Narain College offers admission to the MCA at the PG level. The annual intake for MCA is 60 seats.
• To apply for MCA admission at LNCT, candidates must hold a relevant bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks.
• In addition, candidates have to undertake MP Pre-MCA Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance test conducted by MP for offering MCA admission.

Lakshmi Narain College application process is offline. Prior to that, Candidates registering for various entrance tests must register online for JEE Main/ MP Pre-MCA/ GATE/CAT/CMAT/MAT Entrance Test on the official websites of the respective institutes.
