Kuvempu University M.Com admissions

The M.Com course at Kuvempu University is one of the most common courses offered with a UGC-approved syllabus. Being a 2 years program, the applicants must have completed a B.Com/BBA degree or any other commerce and management stream graduation to be eligible for admissions. In addition, the applicants must have scored at least 50% to apply for admission. However, for reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST), there is a relaxation of 5% marks.

Kuvempu University MCA admissions

The MCA program at Kuvempu University is one of the main courses for PG-looking students. This MCA program is provided for two years. It is a full-time, on-campus program. The minimum criteria are to have completed 10+2 with a BCA graduation of three years. The minimum score should be 50% and above. Also, having Mathematics or Business Mathematics subject at their intermediate level is mandatory.

For the final selection, the authority will consider Karnataka PGCET/PSCET entrance exam scores conducted by KEA. The overall cut-off accepted for the MCA program in KU through KPGCET is 7921 as of 2022.

Kuvempu University PG Diploma admissions

The PG Diploma program at Kuvempu University is a two years program. The program is offered for students seeking higher studies in the management field. The essential eligibility criteria for Kuvempu University PG admissions is to have completed a bachelor's degree in any stream from a well-known University. In addition, the applicants must not have any backlogs and have secured 50% marks and more.

No entrance exam scores are required as part of the selection criteria at Kuvempu University. The program is also available in even shifts as well. M.Ed admissions

Kuvempu University also offers an M.Ed program as a part of its curriculum. It is a 2-year program. If you want admission to the M.Ed program at Kuvempua University, you must have completed your B.Ed. Program from a recognised University.

There is no entrance exam required for this program selection criteria. Also, the course is offered in the general subject depth, and no other specialisations are offered. The general fee structure for the M.Ed. program is 1.05 lakhs in total. For SC/ST candidates, it will cost around 74 K in total.

MSW and M.P.Ed admissions

MSW and M.P.Ed are also available at Kuvempu University. The course duration of both programs is two years. The minimum qualifications required for Kuvempu University admissions are:

The selection will be made via an entrance test held at the University. M.P.Ed: Candidates willing to join the on-campus full-time M.P.Ed (Master of Physical Education) program must have passed a B.P.Ed or BPE from a recognised University.

M.Phil and Ph.D. admissions

Meeting the required academic qualification is essential if you wish to gain admission to an M.Phil or PhD program. Here, the M.Phil program is a 2-year program, and the Ph.D. course is for 3 years. The minimum eligibility criteria are to have completed the relevant Master's and bachelor's exams from the University, which is UGC-approved. In addition, you must have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. 

Those with at least 2 years of research experience will be prioritised for PhD admissions. The final admission will majorly depend on the merit and entrance exam scores. The specialisations are available in fields like Arts, Commerce and Science.

Kuvempu University Admission Process:

All the programs offered at Kuvempu University are at the PG level. Therefore, the candidates must have completed their graduation degree with a minimum mark of 45%. Furthermore, the application/ admission process accepted at Kuvempu University is considered an online and offline method. Therefore, the candidates must have met the necessary selection criteria to apply for admission.

In online mode:

• The eligible candidates shall visit the official website of the University.
• The webpage will display the admission tab on the screen where the candidates can click to register for admissions.
• To register for admissions, the applicants must provide valid and personal contact details.
• Next, the applicants must fill out the application form with all the academic and personal information.
• The page will then ask for the documents to be attached in the scanned format.

• Net banking/UPI or card payments can be made online.

In offline mode:

• The candidates must visit the University's main campus to complete the application form.
• The applicants must get guidance from the University authority.
• The process remains the same as in online mode.
• The applicants must attach hard copies of the required documents and the application form.
