My MBA admission in KIIT College of engineering was done purely based on the Mat score I had got and 50% marks in degree. It is necessary that we have to qualify MAT entrance test for getting admission in KIIT College of engineering. Since I was in graduation I wanted to do MBA because I really wanted to get in to marketing field. When I was searching for some good MBA college I found KIIT College of engineering was good and offered decent education when it comes to engineering and management field but I thought how will I get admission in KIIT College of engineering. So I applied for it and got admission for MBA and I also had to go through personal interview conducted by the institute before joining.
Admissions into various programs at KIIT College of Engineering Gurgaon are offered through National level entrance examinations like JEE Mains, GATE & MAT. For admission into B. Tech course candidate must appear for JEE Mains exam and in case of MBA candidates can appear for MAT entrance examination and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks in order to get shortlisted for admission. Mode of these entrance exam is online. Apart from this, candidate must have completed 10+2 level examination with at least 50% aggregate marks for admission into B. Tech and must have completed graduation in any discipline for admission into MBA program.
I attended the Haryana State counselling process for taking KIIT College of Engineering Gurgaon Admission in B.Tech course. Once we have got 12th marks and valid score in JEE Mains we will have option to choose the colleges we have preference to take admission so considering both the JEE rank we have got and the KIIT College of Engineering cut-off we will get admission. I think the KIIT College of engineering cut-off of JEE Mains was somewhere close to 7-8 lakh rank. For admission I filled the KIIT application form in the KIIT website online by paying rupees 650 as application fee and paid the admission fees and course fees for the first year.
I joined for Civil Engineering Course at KIIT College of Engineering Gurgaon through JEE mains counselling. The B.Tech course fee at this institute for Civil Engineering was 3,00,000/- for the complete 4 year course. However I had to pay the fee on yearly basis so I had to pay 75,000/- for each year. The JEE main cut-off for General Category Students was somewhere within 798405 for home state candidates. Since I am from Haryana seeking admission in this college was easy for me. The placement at this institute was average as not many top companies visited this institute during my batch for campus recruitment.
