TKEC is a private engineering college established in 2006 by a few philanthropists to elevate the status of education in the place. The campus is located in Salem, Tamil Nadu. AICTE approves all the courses offered by TKEC. And it is associated with Anna University. TKCE is also an ideal part of The Kavery Educational Institutions. TKEC offers admission to the UG & PG courses in engineering, technology and management streams. Whereas, admission to the UG and PG courses in TKEC is based on academic merit and entrance test
The Kavery Engineering College (TKEC) BE/B Tech Admission

  • TKEC offers a UG degree B.E/ B. TECH in five specializations: Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, and Mechanical.
  • The criterion for admission in B.E/ B. TECH program at TKEC is based on TNEA followed by counselling.
  • Anna University will release the merit list based on 10+12 marks. In addition, students must score above 50% in the 10+2 board examination under the science stream.

The Kavery Engineering College (TKEC) M.E/M. Tech Admission

The M.E/ M. Tech degree at TKEC is available in six domains: Computer Science Engineering, Applied Electronics, Construction Engineering and Management, Environmental Engineering, Power System Engineering, Product Design, and Development.

  • BE/ B.Tech graduates who have secured more than 50% marks can apply for admission at TKEC to the  M.E/ M. Tech program.
  • Along with this, students are also expected to clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET. Anna University will conduct the TANCET.

The Kavery Engineering College (TKEC) MCA Admission

TKEC also provides a postgraduate level of Master of Computer Applications for three years with an annual intake of 60 seats.  Candidates who have done their UG degree with 50% in BCA or equivalent can seek admission to the MCA at TKEC. Additionally, candidates have to sit for a TANCET entrance test.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is also provided at TKEC to eligible candidates at the postgraduate level in four jurisdictions. The duration of the course is of two years.

  • Undergraduates of any course who have secured more than 50% marks in their duration of the course can apply for admission at TKEC in the MBA program.
  • And it is also mandatory to clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET, conducted by Anna University.

  • Candidates looking for UG or PG admission in TKEC must full-fill the basic eligibility norms before applying for admission.
  • To apply for B Tech, students must register online for TNEA Counselling based on their 12th scores.
  • For PG courses admission in TKEC, students must register for TANCET in order to take up the examination. After qualifying in the exam, they will be eligible to attend counselling through which the seat allocation takes place.
