KSR Institute For Engineering and Technology (KSRIET) was established in the academic year of 2011 and is incorporated by Aarthi Education and Charitable Trust. It was founded as an attempt to provide technical education to the commons at a very feasible cost. It is spreading its boundaries in sprawling 350 acres of green land, and soothing greenery is a prominent feature of this college. It is situated in Kalvi Nagar, Tiruchengode, Namakkal district, Salem, in the state of Tamil Nadu.   KSRIFET is a private college providing technical education; it is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Anna University (AU), Chennai.
KSRIET offers admission to the courses at the Undergraduate (UG) level, that is, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/ (B. TECH), at the post-graduate level in the form of Master of Engineering (M.E)/ M. Tech, and the doctoral level of Ph. D.

KSRIFET is availing courses at the undergraduate level in B.E/ B. TECH in five specializations: Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, and Electronics and Communications.

• Admission to the B Tech at KSR Institute is based on TNEA rank followed by counselling. In addition, students must score above 50% aggregate in 10+2.
• TNEA releases the merit list based on 10+12 marks or equivalent and then follows the counselling procedures by Anna University.
• Above all, you need to register yourself for TNEA and then accordingly follow all other procedures as mentioned.
• Students who have their names on the list are eligible to apply for admission by following the counselling procedures mentioned by Anna University (AU).

• The M.E/ M. Tech degree at KSRIET is imparted in three domains: Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, CAD/CAM.
• Candidates who have possessed B Tech/BE with above 50% marks in the concerned discipline are eligible to secure admission to the M Tech at KSR Institute.
• Along with this, it is also mandatory to clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET. Anna University conducts the TANCET.
• Therefore, aspiring candidates are supposed to register themselves for the entrance exam of TANCET and perform well as equivalent to the minimum cut-off criteria set by KSRIET.

KSR Institute For Engineering and Technology Ph. D Admission
A doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D) degree is also brought forth at KSRIFET to eligible candidates at the postdoc level in one domain. The duration of this course is of three years.

• Post-graduates who have done their masters with minimum marks of 55% are eligible for Ph. D admission at KSRIET.
• And also, they are required to be through with the TANCET entrance exam and scored the minimum marks required by the college.
•  In case students appeared for any national level entrance tests such as UGC-NET or equivalent, they are eligible to apply.

For B Tech admission, students have to apply through TNEA Counselling. The final seat allocation will be made according to the TNEA rank and choice of preferences.

• Go to the homepage of the official website of TNEA and click on the apply now link prevailing on that homepage.
• Start registering by entering the details required.
• When you have completed the registration process, you will be provided with logging credentials via registered email.
• Opt for those logging credentials to fill the TNEA application form by mentioning the required details.
• Complete your application by making fee payment for the same, which amounts approximately to Rs.500/-.
• After completing the above-mentioned steps, submit the application form before the last date mentioned.
