• Admission will be on the basis of ACPC merit to students from Gujarat (50 %) and rest from All India Central Seat Allotment Board(CSAB)
• Reservations for SC, ST and OBC as applicable

M.TECH

Admission M.Tech Courses

Duration: 2 years

Category of exam: post graduate exam

Exam Accepted: GATE

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Candidates should have a valid Degree in Civil/ Environmental / Infrastructure or Architectural Engineering/ or Degree in Electrical Engineering/or Degree in Mechanical/ Production / Manufacturing or Mechatronics Engineering Depending on the selected branch
• Percentage criteria: Minimum of 55% marks / 5.5 (on a 10 point scale) in B.E. /B.Tech Degree in Civil/ Environmental / Infrastructure or Architectural Engineering or equivalent in appropriate branches (50% marks for SC /ST/SEBC applicants).
• Students whose results are awaited for final Semester can apply.
• For Non-GATE qualified applicants, the eligibility criteria mentioned above is minimum and the individual disciplines may use higher cut-off levels for shortlisting.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC categories would be eligible for relaxations, as per norms, in the selection criteria.

PH.D (SPRING SEMESTER ONLY)

Admission Ph.D Courses

Duration: 3 years

Category of exam: doctorate

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Percentage Criteria: Candidates should have secure at least 55% marks or 5.5 CPI marks in M.A./M.Sc./MPhil for Humanities and Social Sciences and M.E./M.Tech.
• Candidates should have cleared Engineering and Technology or equivalent degree in appropriate branches. (Each of the Master Degrees referred herein is to be on the basis of two years full time programme).

Q1.Do IITRAM provide internship facility to students?

A1.Yes IITRAM do provide multiple industrial internships. Some of the internship partners are: Adani Hazira Ports Pvt. Ltd., Surat, AECOM, Ahmedabad, Larsen & Toubro constructions Ltd, Ahmedabad, CMC Ltd., Hyderabad, Ranjit Buildcon Limited, Ahmedabad etc.

Q2. What kind of medical facility is provided by IITRAM?

A2. IITRAM is having in-house medical facility and has appointed full time doctor to take care of health related issues of the IITRAM family.

Q3. What is the fee structure at IITRAM?

A3. At present, fees for the student is Rs.1, 25,000 per annum. However, if the admission is done through ACPC, than for Gujarat domicile boys it is Rs.65000 per annum and for Gujarat domicile girls it is Rs.50000 per annum.
