Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2019

PG :

 

  • Candidate must be graduated or equivalent in relevant stream and have atleast 50% marks (45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA), it may also referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD) category) in relevant stream from recognised College or university.
  • The admission to the Post Graduate Programme offered by the institute is through the Common Admission Test and the Eligibility criteria are the same as those for CAT.

Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management  :

  • Applicants should be working professionals/self-employed
  • Graduates (10+2+3) / Post Graduates in any discipline with min. 50% marks [aggregate - considering results of all years (e.g. 3 or 4 together)] recognized by UGC/AICTE.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience (full-time paid employment) post completion of graduation as on Application Closure Date.
  • The candidate fulfilling both the above criteria will be called for PW consisting of Personal Interview (PI) and Written Analysis Test (WAT).

Hi,

  • The admissions in the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore for PGP-PPM courses will be on the basis of marks scored in national level entrance exams like CAT and GMAT.
  • The CAT cutoff in the previous year for PGPM courses offered at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is as follows:
  1. ST – 70
  2. SC – 75
  3. General – 90
  4. OBC – 80
  5. PwD – 60

  • To seek admission for PGDM program aspirants should have attained more than 60% in bachelor’s degree.
  • Candidates should obtain minimum 90.78% in CAT entrance examination. 
  • Admission is only through CAT entrance examination for this institute. 
  • Fee for the course would be approximately INR 11.76 lakhs for the compete course.

The college does not offer MBA but offers programme like Post Graduate programmes, PGP for executives and FEllow Programmes.
The admission process for PGP in Agri-Business management :-

  • The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of the candidates belonging to(SC),(ST) and (PWD) category) awarded by any of the University.
  • Final selection is based on performance in CAT, scholastic achievement, work experience, and performance in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).
  • The total fee will cost nearly INR 11.9lakhs.

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognized board for IIMS admisison.
  • IIMC College admission will be based on merit list and candidates can apply online/offline.
  • The institute does not provide any hostel facilities for the candidates.

The Admission procedure for PGPM in Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is:

  • For the Indian national candidates, the selection is based on percentile in CAT, Class X and Class XII aggregate percentages, and also the Graduations mark
  • And also the Work Experience (if any), and performance in written ability test and personal interview

And the Preference of the score is:

  • WAT score is around  10 points
  • Personal interview the score is around  30 points
  • CAT the score is around  25 points
  • Class X marks the score is around  10 points
  • Class XII marks they give the preference of 5 points

  • The fee for the course in PGP in Enterprise Management is 1400000, and the fee for the course is 2 years, in Part time basis
  • The fee for the course in PGP in Public Policy and Management is 1650000, and the fee for the course is 1 years, in Full time basis
