The Hindu Educational & Charitable Society established the Hindu College of Engineering (HCE) in 1999. The college's mission is to provide a quality education through innovation and continuous improvement in the engineering discipline through advanced training methods, meaningful study, and collaboration with industry, universities, and other institutions throughout the world. The College's infrastructure is spread out over ten acres of land. It is located in the Haryana town of Sonepat.

It offers engineering courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. HCE is affiliated with Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal. The university's mission is to provide education that turns ideas into motion, opportunities into global advantages, skills into compelling careers, and dreams into reality. To develop a core of professionals with specific skills, a broad understanding of challenges, and a strong sense of moral and social obligation that their future leadership roles require. Students from the north and north-eastern sections of India will get a good education at HCE.   • HCE offers a four-year full-time B.Tech program in five specializations, with 60 seats available in each discipline, as well as a four-year full-time M.Tech program in four fields.
  • ECE, CSE, ME, EE, and CE are among the six disciplines in which the Institute provides a four-year full-time B.Tech. Programs. The Institute also provides a two-year full-time M.Tech. Programs in three fields: electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics and communication engineering.
  • After the second counseling, admission is granted through institutional-level counseling for the remaining 50% of the approved seats (15% seat forwards of NRIs and 25% management quota seats) based on the JEE Main merit and qualifying examination marks.

Candidates for Admission to the B.Tech at the Hindu College of Engineering must have passed the HSC/ 10+2 or an equivalent qualifying test from a recognized board. Candidates are selected for B.Tech based on their eligibility and JEE Main ranking. Candidates are admitted through Haryana State Technical Education Society's online off-campus counseling sessions. Applicants competing for the college's 50 percent seats go through two rounds of counseling.

All India Category, Haryana Open General Category, Tuition Fee Waiver, Scheduled Caste, Backward Kashmiri Migrant, Caste A-B, Physically Handicapped, Ex-servicemen and their wards, Freedom Fighters of all categories with 25% female reservation are all subject to first and second counseling.

Candidates for M.Tech must have completed a BE/ B.Tech course in either discipline with a minimum of 50%. Applicants for admission to the M.Tech at HCE are chosen based on their grades in BE/ B.Tech and their GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) ranking. Candidates who fall into the Physically Handicapped/ SC category receive a 2.50 percent reduction in their qualifying points. Reservation is granted to candidates from Haryana State and candidates from reserved categories according to the rules and policies of the Haryana Government.

Hindu College of Engineering Application Process

The application form can be found on the Hindu College of Engineering's website that is in the online mode. It must be submitted either by mail or in person at the Hindu College of Engineering admission center.

  • Visit the HCE official website.
  • Click on the Admission Form link for the relevant course under the Admission option.
  • The application form has to be downloaded.
  • Take a printout of it and correctly fill it out.
  • For B.Tech/ M.Tech, candidates must pay an application fee of INR 600.
  • The application fee may be paid in cash or by a demand draught drawn on a bank.

Students who have passed 10+2 board exams in the science stream with a minimum of 50% with PCM subjects as mandatory. They must have also appeared for the AP EAPCET entrance exam and secured valid cutoff scores accepted by the College.
