The Gateway Education & Charitable Society founded the Gateway Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) in 2009. It gives young and aspiring students a place to practice technical and programmatic thought. It aims to create a more conducive learning atmosphere and impart technical knowledge according to industry standards. Haryana State Counselling Society handles college admissions by counseling. The Institute offers a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, and, as well as a Diploma in Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The courses are accredited by AICTE and affiliated with Deen Bandhu Choturam University of Science and Technology (DCRUSTM, Sonepat), MDU.
The institution offers B.Tech and M.Tech courses with various specializations. I have done B.Tech in civil engineering from this college. For admission in this college candidate must have valid score in entrance examination. For B.Tech JEE-MAINS is the entrance examination students must appear for, and on the basis of rank admission is offered. Students must also have 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with physics and mathematics as the compulsory subject from the university which is recognized. Fee structure in this college is feasible. In case of M.Tech GATE is the entrance exam for which students can appear after their graduation.
Though I had appeared for 2 different entrance exams my JEE Main score was good and through the score of JEE Main I got Gateway Institute admission for B.Tech. The minimum eligibility required to apply for the course is we need to have cleared XII from a recognised board there is Gateway Institute direct admission where the minimum eligibility is enough to seek Gateway Institute direct admission for B.Tech. However for those seeking merit admissions to B.Tech in Gateway Institute it is purely on basis of score in entrance exam along with academic merit. I completed the admission form offline that is in the college admission section.
After my 10+2 I choose BCA because I was interested in computer applications but not B.Tech so when I got to know about BCA course which has the same value planned to apply for the same. How can I get Gateway Institute admission? What is the eligibility of BCA in Gateway Institute? As I said, minimum qualification like 10+2 is necessary with minimum marks. And the final admission to BCA in Gateway Institute is merit based. There is Gateway Institute direct admission too and the eligibility is we need to have cleared +2 board. I collected the admission form from the college campus and completed it on spot by providing the necessary documents.
