Eligibility Criteria/Cut-off for Admissions 2020

Government college of Pharmacy is government institute which was found in the year 1964 and got affiliated by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. This college is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka and has been famous for its courses in field of Pharmacy. The admission at this college will be based on two criteria which are merit based as well as entrance exam.   • Government College of Pharmacy accepts admission to courses such as B.Pharm which comes under Bachelor degree program and M.Pharm as Master degree course. This institute also offers Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) course.
  • One must have minimum eligibility of Higher Senior Secondary examination or 10+2 examination completed with minimum of 50% marks in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology for taking admission in DPC< Bangalore.
  • The selection process for the B.Pharm will be done on the basis of entrance exam course that is Karnataka Common Entrance test (KCET) which will be the state level entry level for Pharmacy and engineering colleges of Karnataka.
  • Government College of Pharmacy, Bangalore admission for the D.Pharm course will be given to those candidates who have completed 10th. Those students who have completed D.Pharm will be eligible to apply for the B.Pharm lateral entry.
  • Candidates applying for M.Pharm must have finished B.Pharm or equivalent level degree with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
  • For Government College of Pharmacy, Bangalore application form, applicants can visit the website for download or one can also visit the college premises for collecting the form physically.
  • Before one could apply for GPC, Bangalore, the cut-off marks will be released and the once who have met the cut-marks criteria will be allotted seat through counseling process.

In order to get admission for B. Pharm Course at Government College of Pharmacy should meet the required eligibility criteria. Candidates shall have passed in 10+2 from any recognized board with aggregate 50% in science stream whereas selection of candidates for admissions done through KCET score. The Application process is offline, candidates should download the application form by visiting the respective site and must submit the dully filled form through post.

By end of May candidates should have completed filling the application form and submit the same, also Government College of Pharmacy admission forms can be collected from college admission office.
