Eligibility Criteria for B.E Courses in J. T. Mahajan College of Engineering Entrance

  • Candidate should have an Indian citizen.
  • Compulsory subjects: Physics & Mathematics
  • Optional Subject as any one of them: Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects
  • Percentage criteria: securing minimum of 50% (For SC/ST/Reserve candidates, it is 45%) marks in required subject combination (2 compulsory & one optional) taken together.
  • Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained min. score 50% (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only)
  • Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC and obtained min. score 50% (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

  • Yes, can take up admissions for 2nd year. Candidates should apply offline for taking admissions.
  • Since you are transferring from different college from different place you should have relevant transfer certificate from the college you are presently studying in.

Admission details for B.Tech:

  • Candidates should have a minimum 50% aggregate in 10+2 with mandatory subjects like Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. 
  • Aspirants should obtain a valid score in MHTCET entrance examination  
  • Admission is based on score an aspirant obtains in counseling and the score obtained in 10+2.
  • Interested candidates can apply online/ offline with required information  
  • Fee for B.Tech course is approximately INR 106000/- for the compelete course.

The Admission Procedure for the courses in Government College of Engineering is:

  • The aspirant should have passed (10+2) or Equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology, Language and any other subject.
  • And the aspirants need to score a minimum of 50% marks.
  • And the reserved category students have a 5% relaxation in minimum aggregate.

And the Admission Procedure is:

  • And the Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHTCET).
