GCOEN BE/B Tech Admission

At the UG level, the Government College of Engineering Nagpur offers the BE course in five streams.

B Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

• Candidates who have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects can apply for the BE program at GCOE.
• For B Tech Lateral Entry, candidates shall have cleared Diploma course with an average of 50% marks in the same discipline.
• Candidates who have taken the 10+2 exams but have yet to receive their results can also apply at GCOE.
• Students belonging to SC/ST/PWD will have 5% of relaxation in aggregate marks as per government norms.
• The MHT CET scores will be used to determine admission to the BE program at GCE.
• While B Tech admission at GCOE Nagpur has been government by DTE, Maharashtra
• After the declaration of MHT CET Results, eligible candidates are required to undergo CAP Counselling. The registration for CAP is entirely online. DTE will conduct the counselling.
• To be eligible for securing a seat through CAP rounds, candidates must score well in the MHT CET requisite GCOE Nagpur B Tech cut off.
• Students must choose the GCOE Nagpur college as their preference during the option filling round during counselling rounds.
• If students' MHT CET score is identical to the cut-off, they will have more chances to acquire admission seats during the seat allotment process.
