GIET was established in the year 1998 and is situated in Chaitanya Nagar, Rajahmundry.

GIET has been rewarded with the "A" grade by NAAC. GIET, Rajahmundry offers B.Tech in seven programs at the undergraduate level and M.Tech in seven streams at the graduate level, including MCA, MBA, MTM, and MAM. It also offers a polytechnic diploma with a variety of streams.

• For the Polytechnic course, applicants must have a qualified 10th board with a minimum of 50%.
• B.tech applicants must have a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 grades, and admission is based on the AP-EAMCET exam score.
• Candidates for M.Tech must have a bachelor's degree in engineering and are chosen based on their GATE score.
• Candidates for the MAM, MCA, and MBA programs must have a bachelor's degree and pass the AP-ICET exam.
• MTM candidates must have completed their undergraduate studies and must take the GATE exam.

GIET B.Tech Admission

GIET offers a B.Tech program under seven different types of specializations. Aspirants for B.Tech programs must take the AP-EAMCET or JEE Main, and admission is based on the entrance exam results and a personal interview.

• B.Tech course at GIET requires the aspirants to have a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 qualification.
• Aspirants must appear for the AP-EAMCET exam as the seats are allocated on the basis of the rank secured in the exam.

GEIT B.Tech Cut-off

GEIT M.Tech Admission

GEIT offers an M.Tech program at the postgraduate level with seven different types of specializations.

•  Aspirants for GEIT M.Tech program must have a B.Tech degree to be eligible.
• Aspirants will have to sit for the GATE exam as its rank determines how seats are allocated in the course. However, even it accepts the valid score of AP PGECET scores.

GEIT MBA Admission

Admission to the two-year MBA program is available at the institute. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and take the AP-ICET exam.

• Aspirants must take the AP-ICET exam, and their selection is based on their exam score and a personal interview.
• In addition, students must score above 50% at the UG level in any stream as minimum eligibility criteria to secure admission seat at GEIT.

GEIT MTM, MCA & MAM Admission

• In addition to the M Tech & MBA, GEIT offers admission to the other PG courses such as MAM, MCM and MTM.
• Candidates must hold a recognized bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Such candidates can apply for PG courses at GEIT. Whereas the selection criteria for same depends on student's performance in the academic exam.

• Candidates can download the application form from the GEIT webpage or obtain it from the GEIT college by visiting the college office.
• Candidates must fill the application form with accurate information accordingly.
• Aspirants must submit the application form with all the necessary documents attached to it.
• The application will have to be submitted at the GEIT college office or to the GEIT college by mail.
