Dravidian University is a notable institution of higher education established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Dravidian University B.Ed Admission

This course is of 2-year duration. Graduates from any discipline with minimum average marks can apply for this course. The seat intake of the B.Ed course is 50. The selection of the candidate is based on the merit. Eligible applicants can access the Dravidian University admission form online by logging into the website.

Dravidian University BA Admission

It is a 3-year duration full-time course. It is an arts field course in which the seat intake is 60. The minimum eligibility for the BA course is a 12th pass out from a recognized board of education. In addition, the minimum qualifying marks should be above 45% in any stream of 10+2. The authority will form the Dravidian University Merit List based on the aggregate scores.

Dravidian University BPEd Admission

A bachelor's degree programme in physical education is offered in sports and fitness. Candidates for this programme must have completed their 10+2 exams with at least a 50% grade point average. The duration of the BPEd course is 3-4 years. Students who have earned their graduation in any relevant field may study the same course. The final selection of the candidate is based on merit. Dravidian University BCom and BBA Admission

B Com is a UGC-recognized undergraduate course. Class 12 students with a background in commerce typically choose BCom during undergrad admission. It is a 3-year duration course in which selection is based on merit. However, applicants shall have passed 10+2 with not less than 45% marks in the commerce stream. Students can access the Dravidian University syllabus via the official website.

Applicants must complete their 10+2 higher education from a recognized educational board for admission to the Dravidian University BBA. Merit is the basis of the candidate's selection.

Dravidian University MA Admission

Candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree with a minimum of 55% overall. Those who have possessed BA in the relevant stream will be preferred. Besides, students are mandated to take the DUCET, the Dravidian University Entrance Exam. The mode of examination is offline. Dravidian University MSc Admission

Among the Dravidian University PG Courses, MSc is a flagship programme in various streams. Students must have earned a B.Sc. in a relevant field with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 55%. The entrance exam DUCET is the basis of the selection of the candidate. A merit list will be formed based on the Dravidian University Result of Entrance Exam. Dravidian University MBA Admission

For admission to the MBA, the applicant must graduate from an accredited university with a suitable stream. It is a full-time 2-year duration PG degree course. In addition, the applicant must have a graduation grade point average of 55% in any discipline. The APICET score is used as the basis for the selection process, followed by counselling.

Dravidian University M. Lib.I.Sc Admission

It is a professional degree programme at the postgraduate level that involves advanced study of library and information science ideas and practices. The degree is a full-time and part-time (correspondence) programme at many universities and colleges across India. Although the course normally lasts a year, you have three years to finish it. Graduation is the minimum eligibility criterion for this course, and merit is the basis of selection.

Dravidian University MCA and M Com  Admission

A Bachelor's degree in computer applications (BCA) or a similar discipline, with mathematics as a required subject in Class 12, is the minimum requirement for eligibility. The entrance exam APICET will be used to determine the selection of the candidate.

Candidates pursuing a career in the business industry must complete a 2-year M Com postgraduate programme. The minimum eligibility criteria for this course is a bachelor's degree in BCom. The final admission of the candidate is based on the DUCET entrance exam.

Dravidian University Ph.D. & M.Phil Admission

In addition to UG and PG degrees, Dravidian University provides PhD and M.Phil. research programmes to students who want to advance in their chosen fields.

To gain admission, students must appear for Dravidian University Research Common Entrance Test (DURCET). At the same time, eligible students may also apply for admission through the GATE, UGC NET, SLET, or CSIR. Students are admitted in addition to meeting the minimum requirements based on their postgraduate performance. SC/ST/PWD applicants are eligible for a 5% mark reduction.

Dravidian University Admissions Process

Candidates can submit their Dravidian University application forms either offline or online. To apply Online, students are required to visit the official website. Under the admission tab, you can find the forms. Fill the details in the form and upload the required documents.

Offline Process: The form is also available to candidates via the Dean's office. Students must submit the specified entrance examination fees, which are Rs. 250 for SC/ST/differently-abled students

and Rs. 350 for general/BC candidates. Demand Drafts (DDs) should be used to pay fees and made payable to the Registrar, Dravidian University, Kuppam and drawn on the Andhra Bank, Dravidian University Branch, Kuppam (0001539).

About Dravidian University Entrance Exam

Every year, the DUCET (Dravidian University Common Entrance Test) is conducted to offer admission to Dravidian University's different postgraduate programmes, including MA, M.Sc., MLISc, M.COM, MSW, and others.

  • Candidates for the DUCET must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant field.
  • Candidates select each group based on the degree required for admission. 
  • According to the Dravidian University Exam Pattern, it consists of 100 objective-style questions, and candidates have 100 minutes to answer them.
  • Each right response receives 1 mark, and there is no deducted credit.
  • Entrants must be a minimum of 22 years old age to register for the entrance test. However, there is no maximum age at which a candidate may take the test.
