College of Technology and Engineering Udaipur (CTAE) was started in the year 1964 located in Udaipur. CTAE is a component institute of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology. College of Technology and Engineering offers UG Course BE/B Tech in eight specializations. Candidates looking to take admission for BE/B Tech will be done through REAP. Eligibility Criteria for REAP, Candidates must secure a valid rank in JEE Main Entrance Exam and appear for Counseling which Rajasthan Government will organize.

Candidates must secure 45% of aggregate marks in the 10+2 Exam, and there will be a relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/OBC Candidates. The admissions process for Agriculture Engineering will be done through ICAR (Indian Council of Agriculture Research)

College of Technology and Engineering offers PG Course ME/M Tech in 12 Specializations. Institute should qualify candidates looking to take admission for ME/M Tech in bachelor's degree BE/B Tech with the required 55% aggregate marks. The eligible candidates are selected based on scores obtained in the GATE Entrance Exam.

Students under OFPA Scheme must acquire a minimum of 6.0/10 OGPA to qualify for ME/M Tech admission.SC/ST/OBC Candidates will have the relaxation of 5% aggregate marks so that candidates can acquire 50% aggregate marks in bachelor's degrees.
