Admission to B. Tech first year and lateral admission in B. Tech second year ( for diploma holder and B. Sc pass candidates only ) will be as per the rules prescribed by the UPTU.

ADMISSION TO B. TECH FIRST YEAR THROUGH ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

Admission to B. Tech first year and lateral admission in B. Tech second year ( for diploma holder and B. Sc pass candidates only ) will be as per the rules prescribed by the APJAKTU. Candidates who have passed intermediate of U.P. board or (10 + 2) from other board with Physics & Mathematics and any one of Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology are eligible for admission to the first year of 4 year B. Tech. Course. Minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Maths at 10+2 level (any board) OR rank in GBTU – SEE / AIEEE for GEN / OBC / MINORITY. (In the case of SC/ST, it is 45%)

ADMISSION TO B. TECH SECOND YEAR THROUGH LATERAL ENTRY SCHEME:

Candidates who have passed 3/4 year Diploma OR B.Sc. Maths (with minimum 50% marks) from institutions recognized by the U.P Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering except Agriculture Engg. are eligible for admission to the second year of 3 years B.Tech. course

PROCESS OF ADMISSION:

The registration forms are available on the website, in the institute, and at the city office. The forms should be duly filled and attached with photocopies of testimonials, recent colored passport-sized photographs, and cash/demand draft/pay order of Rs registration. 20,000/- in favor of “ BUDDHA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY “ payable at Gorakhpur – which will be adjusted towards fees.

SCHOLARSHIP:

The character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved. The scholarships aim to encourage and promote academic and leadership excellence to deserving students who take BIT admission. The detailed breakup of the Scholarship given to students is furnished below:

BIT 10+2 SCHOLARSHIP – to encourage promising students, BIT provides scholarships to students who have secured good marks in 10+2 board exams (applicable only in 1st year).

BIT RANK SCHOLARSHIP -– to encourage promising students, BIT provides scholarships to students who have secured rank in UP-SEEE (applicable only in 1st year).

SAMAJ KALYAN SCHOLARSHIP – Government provides scholarships (FEE REIMBURSEMENT) for those students whose parents' annual income is fewer than Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rs Two Lac only). Gen/OBC/SC/ST/Minority – Full Tuition Fee.

BRIGHT GIRL SCHOLARSHIP – Every year, ten bright girl students are admitted. Their full tuition fee is waived off for all four years. This scholarship is a small contribution of the institute towards women's upliftment. The institute also ensures that these students get good placements in their 4th year. The selection of these students is based on screening test and interview.

SC/ST No Fees: SC/ST category student will have to pay only Rs. 7550/- as Examination fee per year. Students must fill Samaj Kalyan Scholarship & Fee Reimbursement form for fee reimbursement. 

Part Payment: Institute has provided the facility to pay the price in 3 installments as mention below:

1st Installment at the time of registration, Rs. 20000/-, 2nd Installment at the time of Admission, Rs. 25000/-, 3rd Installment at the beginning of even semester.
