BITS was initiated in the year 2008 and is located in a prominent place called Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh. BITS is affiliated with JNTU of Anantpur as a private institute. This institute has approval from AICTE, offering engineering and non-engineering programs like management. They offer five UG programs, and the remaining PG courses available in this institute are B-Tech, Lateral B-Tech, M-Tech, MBA and Polytechnic programs with respective eligibility and selection criteria. BITS offers Admission to the Diploma program in Polytechnic subjects for three years along with the engineering programs.

• Students must have scored above 50% in their 10+2 board exam in any of the streams.  
• A diploma in Polytechnic is offered in two subjects, Civil and EEE.

• The application process for BITS is possible through online mode, where the applicants are asked to visit the University website.
• Students are asked to click on the "Apply Online" button on the website.
• Next, they must put in all the personal (contact info and family details) and academic information about the admission necessity. 
• After all the relevant details are put in, they have to upload or attach the photo and sign in the scanned format. 
• They must also attach the required documents that are necessary for them to verify for providing admissions. 
• In the last step, they have to pay the application form fees through Net Banking/ or card payment like Credit/Debit Card and press the "Submit" button. 
• Candidates will be asked to take a hard copy of the application form that is wholly filled, which will be used for later purposes.
• The seat allotment at GKCE is available at 80% for its local candidates, and the remaining percentage is given to students from another state.
