Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Charitable Trust was established Annapoorana Engineering College (AEC) in the year 2010. On the Salem-Coimbatore National Highway, the college is set on 14 acres of ground. The college was founded to produce world-class technocrats who are ready to work in the corporate sector. The AICTE in New Delhi has recognized the college, which is also accredited by NAAC and affiliated with Anna University. Salem AEC Admission to the B.Tech programme will be based on the TNEA merit list, whereas admission to the M.Tech programme will be based on the TANCET administered by Anna University.

Annapoorana Engineering College BE/B Tech Admission
AEC College provides admission to the UG program BE/B Tech. Seven specializations are available in BE/B Tech. The annual intake for each branch is 60 seats, and the course duration will be for four years.

  • For admission to the B Tech at AEC College depends on TNEA Merit Rank. Anna University will release the merit list based on 10+2 Marks.
  • Students who have acquired a least 50% marks in 10+2 PCM subjects are eligible to apply for admission.
  • At first, students must register for TNEA Counseling based on their 12th score. Later, Anna University will publish the TNEA Merit list.

 AEC College of Engineering and Technology M Tech Admission
M Tech degree at AEC College is available in four core specializations. The annual intake capacity for M Tech is 24 seats. The specializations are Computer Science, Power Electronics & Drive.

  • B Tech graduates who have obtained more than 50% marks can seek admission to the M Tech at AEC College.
  • In addition, they must clear the state level entrance exam that is TANCET. Anna University will conduct the TANCET.
  • Thus, students have to register for an entrance exam and perform well as equivalent to the minimum cut off criteria set by AEC College.

Admission to the BE/B Tech or M Tech will be made according to the guidelines specified by Anna University. At first, students must register online for the respective entrance exams by logging into the official website. (TNEA or TANCET)

  • Go to the official website of the college
  • On the homepage, click on apply now link
  • Register yourself by entering the required details. Once the registration process is done, you will receive the login credentials.
  • Use those login credentials to fill a TNEA application form. Enter all the relevant details correctly in the form.
  • Make the payment of application fees online. TNEA application fees cost approx. 500/-
  • Then submit the application form in the prescribed period.
