Amrita School of Ayurveda invites for admission into BAMS and MD/MS in Ayurveda; and the admissions are offered through entrance examinations. Total intake into BAMS is 60 and that in MS/MD is 38. Minimum eligibility for admission is that, student must have passed 12th with PCB subjects with minimum 50% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category) from a recognised board. Selection criteria for admission are dependent on the score that candidate secures in NEET entrance examination; valid score as per the cut off marks is mandatory. Cut off marks in 2019 for general category was in the range of 701-134. NEET application form can be filled online through NEET official website and the application fee is INR 1,500 for general/OBC and INR 800 for SC/ST.
Amrita School of Ayurveda Admission for the Bachelors of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery program is based on the following criteria: The candidate should have passed their 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology as their majors and should have secured a min. of 50% average marks, collectively. Provided, the college is recognized by the AICTE. Also, the candidate is required to appear for the NEET exam and the score secured in the exam, will play a vital role in the selection of the candidate. Based on the above criteria’s the candidates are selected within the stipulated intake of 60 seats every academic year.
