• The least qualifying marks must be above 50% at the UG level.
• The candidates will be selected depending on merit in their previous qualifying examination. The shortlisted candidates then shall be called in for an entrance test and a personal interview round.
• Candidates who have appeared and scored a non-zero qualifying mark in any of the national level entrance examinations - CAT/MAT/XAT are exempted from entrance test conducted by the university. However, they have to appear in the personal interview round.
• Suppose students who have not attempted this exam must appear for the Amity School of Rural Management Entrance Exam.

About the Entrance Test

Amity University Rural Management (ASRUM) conducts an entrance test for admission to its MBA program in Rural Management.

The test assesses the candidate's knowledge of rural development, economics, management, and other subjects.

The ASRUM entrance test consists of two parts:

Part I: This part consists of 100 multiple-choice questions on the following topics:

• Rural development
• Rural economics
• Rural management
• General knowledge
• Logical reasoning

Part II: This part consists of a descriptive essay on a topic related to rural development.

The total duration of the test is two hours.

Amity School of Rural Management Scholarships

• The university provides a 20% scholarship to MBA candidates who have obtained a minimum of 85 percentiles in CAT.
• Candidates who scored 700 or higher marks in MAT or 600 or higher in GMAT are eligible for this scholarship. There should also be no gap between 10+2 and the degree, and you should have taken a CBSE/ISC board test.
• Amity alumni who move on to the Amity School of Rural Management's MBA program receive a 10% fee reduction.
