TANCET Counselling 2022: Check the MBA/ MCA Online Counselling Schedule

The TANCET 2022 counseling schedule has been made public by DTE Chennai. Before August 5, candidates may complete the TANCET 2022 counseling registration.

TANCET counseling has begun at Chennai's Directorate of Technical Education. Candidates who pass the TANCET 2022 can register for counseling online between July 11 and August 5. Candidates must upload their certificates for verification and their TANCET 2022 counseling registration. Candidates with their documents confirmed are eligible to be on the TANCET rank list. The rank list for MBA course admission will be made public on August 25 following the TANCET counseling timetable.

The TANCET 2022 Counselling process entails online registration at tn-mbamca.com, online certificate submission and verification at GCT, the release of the TANCET Rank List 2022, choice filling, and locking, and seat allocation. Only those qualified for TANCET 2022 may enroll for TANCET 2022 counselling for MBA and TANCET 2022 counseling for MCA.

How to apply TANCET MBA Counselling

The MBA/ MCA counseling process for TANCET 2022 is online. The following is a description of the steps in the TANCET MBA counseling process:

• Online Registration: On the TANCET 2022 official website, tn-mbamca.com, DTE, Tamil Nadu, will publish the online registration forms. The TANCET 2022 counseling fees will be INR 300 for SC, ST, and SCA applicants and INR 600 for general applicants.
• Online uploading certificates and documents: Candidates must upload the necessary certifications and paperwork for verification. Class 10th and Class 12th certificates, TANCET scorecards, graduation mark sheets, provisional certificates and degrees, nativity certificates (where applicable), and District Medical Board certificates are among the papers that must be uploaded (for PwD candidates)
• Release of TANCET Rank Lists: The authority will release TANCET 2022 cut-off marks for MBA and MCA separately after verifying all uploaded documents. Candidates will be able to engage in the subsequent TANCET counseling rounds based on the rank lists.
• Filling the choice and Locking: Candidates whose names appear on the rank lists must fill out and lock in their college preferences to secure a spot.
• Seat Allotment: The counseling authority will distribute seats in the appropriate colleges following the candidates' TANCET 2022 results and choices. The seat allocation results will be available in separate PDF files for the MBA and MCA.

TANCET 2022 Counselling Process

Seats will only be distributed through counseling. More applicants than there are actual places available will be contacted for counseling.

• Admission will be given based on the merit of the candidates who attend counseling under the Government of Tamil Nadu's preservation guidelines. Others cannot claim any right to admission.
• A candidate may only receive an allocation for one program.
• By inputting their TANCET 2022 application number, name, and date of birth on the Anna University web portal, candidates can only get the call letter.
• Candidates should travel to the counseling session on their dime and bring all of their original documentation.
• Candidates must pay INR 5,300 - (INR 1,150 for SC/ ST/SCA candidates from Tamil Nadu) in the form of a Demand Draft at the time of counseling, which includes a non-refundable fee of INR 300 (INR 150 for SC/ ST/ SCA candidates from Tamil Nadu) toward the TANCET 2022 counseling fee. Candidates must also attend the counseling with all original certificates. The Demand Draft must be paid in Chennai to "The Secretary, TANCA, Anna University."
• The amount of INR 5,000 for general category candidates or INR 1,000 for SC/ SCA/ ST students already paid at the time of counseling will be applied against the tuition fee to be paid to the particular allotted college once a seat has been assigned.

TANCET 2022 Seat Allotment

• Candidates must select colleges and suitable branches from a list of all the colleges affiliated with TANCET 2022 during TANCET Counselling.
• During counseling, candidates are recommended to keep knowledgeable about the college they select.
• The candidate's seats will be assigned based on available seats in the college and a prepared common merit list.
• When seats are allocated, candidates with higher ranks on the common merit list will be given preference over other candidates.
• If a candidate is unhappy with the college that has been assigned, they may attend the second and even third counseling session.
• Candidates who missed the first or second phase of counseling will not be permitted to attend the subsequent and subsequent sessions of TANCET Counselling in 2022.
• The colleges allotted in the previous round shall be taken as final.
