TANCET 2022 is scheduled in March, and the notifications for exam events will soon be announced. 

Anna University conducts TANCET 2022 as a state-level entrance exam. TANCET 2022 is scheduled to be held in the month of March 2022. The registrations for TANCET 2022 will commence soon, and the notifications will be released on the official exam website. Anna University organized TANCET 2022 on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Government every year. The scores of TANCET 2022 is considered for seeking admissions for PG programs like MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., and M.Plan etc.

The required eligibility of TANCET 2022 is that the candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree in any stream from a well-recognized University with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved candidates) and no backlogs. If the candidates appear for the MCA program, they must have good scores in mathematics subject of 10+2 along with a bachelor’s degree. Even the candidates who are yet to appear for the final year degree exam.  

Once the registrations are live for TANCET 2022, candidates can follow the below steps.

• Submitting the TANCET 2022 application form will involve multiple steps like registration, filling details in the application form, attaching documents and payment of fees.
• Applicants must first register for the TANCET 2022 exam and get the confirmation mail from the authority with username and login credentials.
• Using the credentials, candidates must start filling out the application form using the official link on the website.
• Applicants must enter details of personal educational and course-related details.
• In the last, they must attach the upload the necessary documents for verification.
• Then the webpage will be directed for payment of application fees to finish with the application process.
• The application fees of TANCET 2022 is INR 600 for general candidates and INR 300 for SC/ST reserved candidates.

TANCET 2022 mode of exam will be held in PBT format, and the duration is for two hours. There are 100 questions for courses like MBA and MCA, with a total of 115 questions for courses like M.E, M-Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan. One mark is carried for every correct answer, and 1/3 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Post the registrations are complete, admit card of TANCET 2022 will be published on the exam website before a week of the TANCET 2022 exam date. The admit the registered applicants can access card. The result of TANCET 2022 will be given out by the first week of April 2022. Before the release of results, the answer key for TANCET 2022 will be given by the end of March updated on the exam website. The candidates are shortlisted based on the cut off marks of the TANCET2022 exam. The candidates will be further processed to counselling rounds. 

The counselling process for TANCET 2022 will start after the results are out. The counselling procedure will begin in May 2022. The eligible students must complete the TANCET counselling registration of 2022 in the online portal. Eligible candidates must finish the choice filling process, so the exam authority will declare the result for counselling rounds are given separately. The admissions are offered for students based on their TANCET 2022 score.

The seat allotment of TANCET 2022 will be done based on the merit list and continue with the admission process.
