JEE Advanced 2021 Application Process Begins

As per the official announcement, JEE Advanced 2021 Application process will begin on 14th September 2021. The registration procedure was supposed to start on 13th September 2021. However, due to the delay of JEE Main 2021 Results, it got postponed further. The mode of the application procedure is online. Aspirants should visit the official website to register online. ( @ jeeadv.ac.in) The last date to register for an exam is 19th September 2021. While the deadline for submitting the JEE Advanced application fees is 20th September 2021.

Once the application process concludes, only registered applicants will access the JEE Advanced 2021 Admit Card. As per the notified schedule, admit card will be issued on 25th September 2021. Registered applicants can download the admit card from the official website.

The Union Education Minister has announced JEE Advanced Exam Dates through a tweet. According to the exam schedule, JEE Advanced 2021 will be held on 3rd October 2021. This year, IIT Kharagpur is responsible for conducting the examination. The mode of exam is online, and it is computer-based. The duration of the exam lasts 3 hours. The exam paper comprises MCQ and numerical type of questions. There will be two papers. ( Paper 1 & 2 ) candidates are required to appear for both papers to qualify.

JEE Advanced 2021 is a national level entrance exam, which Seven Zonal IITs will conduct under the guidance of JAB. ( Joint Admission Board ) JEE Advanced is a prerequisite for admission into UG, Integrated Master’s, Dual Degree Courses at IITs. Thus, JEE Advanced qualifiers can secure admission seats at IITs and other prestigious engineering colleges all over India

By considering student’s requests, IITs has scrapped 75% minimum eligibility marks this year as well. Initially, Students were supposed to obtain 75% aggregate or equivalent CGPA as minimum marks in 10+2. Now, students require only a 12th passing certificate to satisfy JEE Advanced 2021 Eligibility Criteria

According to JAB, already registered students who missed an opportunity to appear in JEE Advanced 2020 due to COVID 19 crisis can undertake JEE Advanced 2021 directly without qualifying in JEE Main 2021

As per the notified schedule, JEE Advanced 2021 response sheets will release on 5th October 2021. Whereas the provisional JEE Advanced answer key will be issued on 10th October 2021. After that, IITs will declare the results on 15th October 2021. Applicants can check their results online by logging into an official web portal.

JoSSA will conduct JEE Advanced 2021 Counselling in October 2021. The students who have been qualified in the entrance exam can participate in counselling. There will be 6 to 7 rounds, depends on seat availability.  The counselling procedure concludes the steps such as registration, filling choices, locking choices and seat allotment

 

JEE Advanced 2021 Registration Process

Check out the following steps to register online for JEE Advanced 2021.

Step 1: Kindly Visit the Official Website of JEE Advanced 2021. (@ jeeadv.ac.in) On the home page, you will find the “Register” link.  Click on it, proceed to enter the details.

Step 2: Applicants must enter JEE Main 2021 Roll Number, Password and other specified details to complete the registration

Step 3: You have to log in by using the credentials that are password and ID. Upon successful login, you will be able to fill the Application Form.

Step 4: Then proceed to fill in all the necessary details in the form. Fill up all the details such as academic qualification, JEE Main 2021 score, contact details and other relevant details

Step 5: After filling the form, upload the scanned images of the Photo & Signature in a prescribed format. It must be uploaded as per the specified dimensions.

Besides Photo & Signature, candidates must upload the 10th / 12th Marks sheet certificates, Category Certificate, POI / OCI Card, and other essential documents

Step 6: Then, Pay the JEE Advanced 2021 application fees through the Online Payment Method.  The application fees cost approx. INR 2800 for General / OBC ( Male and Transgender ). While Females / other reserved categories should pay INR 1400
