Jamia Millia Islamia University has issued an official report stating that from December 15, 2020 Jamia Millia Islamia University will be commencing online classes for the new session. Jamia Millia Islamia University released another notice stating the commencement of the application process for PhD programs. Students are advised to check the official site for more details.
Jamia Millia Islamia University (JMI), New Delhi will start the online classes through Google meet for the new academic session. On December 2nd 2020 Jamia Millia Islamia released Merit List 2020 over the website. After the counseling round, the students reserved their seat by updating their documents in the official website and paying the admission fees for the specific course.
On December 8th 2020 the Jamia Millia Islamia University released the note stating that application forms for the PhD courses will be now available over the website and December 20th 2020 will be the last date to apply for the courses, while the entrance exam date will be released after the application process. The university is drafting to start the PhD session from January, 2021.
Nonetheless, M Phil programs won’t be available for the academic session 2020-21 because of the execution of NEP 2020. Students who have already registered for the M Phil program will be transferred to the PhD applications.
Apart from this, the Jamia Millia Islamia University entrance exam for all the courses was organized from October 10-November 22, 2020 with precautions to the Covid-19 pandemic. The university followed the SOP guidelines that are imposed by the Central and State Government for conducting the exams.
